Chapter six:
Let’s talk about gender equality
On January 29th 2022 we hosted and important conversation about one of our favorite topics, Gender Equality!
This was our last World Changers event of this series, so it was very special. We came to get inspired, learn, and to meet other girls from all over the world. We heard from Laura Peña, founder of She is the Universe, as well as Detiny Esmeralda Mejia and Grace Catan, two of our Mini-Grant winners. They shared about the exciting projects they are working on.
Our aim is to have important conversations about the issues affecting the world today. Attendees left the event inspired to take action.
Hosted by Laura Peña, Sammie Vance, Sara Surani and Lilly Platt.
This event is open and free to girls 12+ from all over the world. We also welcome women who would like to support them.
