IN CELEBRATING THE INTERNATIONAL DAY (and month) OF THE GIRl 2022!
This campaign was developed to celebrate the power of young girls from all around the world. Using the UN's 2022 theme for this day ー “our time is now - our rights, our future” ーwe highlight girls' strength and empower them to leave behind anything they feel is holding them back.
To achieve this goal, nothing is better than the girls themselves inspiring others! This is why our message was created through a combination of texts made by the girls from our community. Behind each line, there is an amazing girl full of potential to change their communities and the world. Since every girl is different and unique, we will celebrate their diversity by exploring the multiple languages of this world! That is why each video is recorded by the girls in their own beautiful languages. This is a gift from them to the world and to themselves: a reminder that girls can do whatever they want!

About She is the Universe
We are She is the Universe —a global movement for girls empowerment. We work both virtually and in-person with teenage girls of all shapes, sizes, colors, languages, cultural, and socio-economic backgrounds from more than 50 countries all over the world to empower them to be the leaders of their lives and create the change they want to see in the world. Currently, teenage girls are leading most of our programs.
At She is the Universe, we design programs to develop girls' practical and socio-emotional skills through storytelling, community, and leadership development, while also supporting their curiosities and passions through mentorship, scholarships, and global connections.
To date, more than 200 girls have been directly impacted and more than 15,000+ have been indirectly impacted. Our goal is to bring the She is the Universe support system to every girl in every country around the world.
